Who We Are

zaWise is an independent information platform owned and operated by Snego Group. We are based in Bothaville, Free State, South Africa.

We are not SASSA. We are not the government. We are South Africans helping other South Africans.

Why We Built This

Millions of South Africans depend on SASSA grants. The official information is scattered across government portals that crash on busy days. Status results can be confusing. Scammers prey on people who do not know how the system works.

We wanted to create a single, clear, reliable guide that explains how everything works in plain language. No jargon. No confusion. Just the information you need, written the way a friend would explain it.

What We Do

  • Write step-by-step guides for checking your SASSA status
  • Explain what each status result means and what to do next
  • Track whether the SASSA portal and other channels are working
  • Warn people about current scams targeting grant beneficiaries
  • Publish updates when SASSA policy or payment dates change

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do NOT process applications, appeals, or payments
  • We do NOT collect personal data (no ID numbers, no phone numbers, no banking details)
  • We do NOT make government decisions about your grant
  • We do NOT charge money for any information or service
All official grant actions (applying, appealing, updating details) must be completed on government portals ending in .gov.za. We link you to those portals. We never ask you to enter your personal details on our site.
